Dry upper ridge continuing to provide mostly sunny skies and milder temperatures thru Saturday. Still quite cold though in parts of Mono County, particularly in Bridgeport (where below zero night time temps have been the norm). On Sunday a weakening system makes it over the ridge and brings a slight chance of precipitation to the district. Ridging then builds back in on Monday and Tuesday for dry conditions.

FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:

Today: Mostly sunny then partly cloudy. Highs 49 / lows 19. Winds NW 5 mph.
Saturday & Sunday: Mostly sunny Saturday then a slight chance of rain and snow showers Sunday. Highs 47  / lows 23. Winds SE 3 – 7 mph.

FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:

Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 40 / lows 14. Winds W 5 – 10 mph.
Saturday & Sunday: Mostly sunny Saturday becoming mostly cloudy Sunday with a 30% chance of showers. Highs 27 / lows 15. Winds SW 5 – 10 mph.

FOR MONO COUNTY:

Today: Mostly sunny.  Highs 30 – 40 / lows 8 below – 2 above zero. Winds S 5 mph.
Saturday & Sunday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of snow showers on Sunday. Highs 29 –  39 / lows 2 below – 8 above zero. Winds SW 10 mph.
