WEATHER DISCUSSION:

Very warm temperatures today and tomorrow, as the big ridge (596 DM) sits over the region. Heat advisories are in effect today starting at noon. To make matters worse, the Ferguson Fire continues to pump smoke and haze into the parts of Mono County. By Wednesday that ridge will wobble eastward and that will open the door for additional Monsoon moisture to move in. PWAT’s look to run well over 1.00 inches of water. The ridge will eventually settle over the Four Corners Area, keeping chances of T-storms in the mix each afternoon and evening thru the weekend. Localized heavy rain is possible and I can’t rule out flooding in prone areas…DMATT
