WEATHER DISCUSSION: 
Later today an upper low will make landfall near the CA / OR border and move inland. It will drag a cold front over our forecast area primarily Wednesday and Thursday. Cold and unstable air will result, with rain in the valleys and 1 – 2 feet of snow common in the upper elevations above 7,000 feet by Thursday. Breezy to windy conditions Wednesday and Thursday, particularly in Mono County. Generally warmer and drier conditions returning later Friday thru the weekend…DMATT

OWENS VALLEY:

Tuesday: Partly sunny —> mostly cloudy. High 69° / Low 40°.
Wednesday: 60% showers. High 66° / Low 36°.

TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:

Tuesday: Partly sunny —> 30% snow showers. High 46° / Low 29°.
Wednesday: 90% snow showers. High 39° / Low 21°.

MONO COUNTY:

Tuesday: Partly cloudy —> 30% PM snow / rain showers. Snow level 6,500 feet. High 47° – 57° / Low 27° – 37°.
Wednesday: Snow / rain showers. Snow level 6,000 feet. High 42° – 52° / Low 19° – 29°.
