THURSDAY 22-DEC-2011

Ridging of the coast continues with yesterdays upper low now through Utah and down past 4-Corners. Main impact with this is gusty winds expected to continue today, then dropping off on Friday. On Friday as well, the offshore ridge will strengthen and move inland. This will give us slight warming over the holiday weekend. Right now things look dry into mid next week, where an upper low just might brush the PACNW and N. California about Wednesday/Thursday. We will have to wait and see if any precipitation comes from this at all, so stay tuned…
