We have a dynamic weather pattern over our area, all driven by an EPAC ridge of high pressure and a Four Corners low pressure center. This is doing two things, driving cooler air down into our district and creating breezy to windy conditions. As the low weakens and the ridge builds in, by Wednesday, the winds should reduce and temps will try to return to normal. That ridge will stay over the area through Saturday, giving us dry conditions.

FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:

Today: Sunny then mostly clear through the evening. Highs around 46 and lows 19. Winds NW 10 – 15 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny then clear again in the evening.  Highs 49 and lows around 18. Winds NW 6 – 8 mph.

FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:

Today: Sunny and mostly clear this evening. Highs around 31 and lows 16. Winds NW 5 – 10 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny then clear skies at night.  Highs 38 and lows 18. Winds NE 5 – 10 mph.

FOR MONO COUNTY:

Today: Sunny skies then clearing through the evening. Highs 31 – 36 and lows 1 below – 9 above zero. Winds NW 10 – 15 mph G 35.
Tuesday: Sunny skies then clear overnight. Highs 34 – 39 and lows 1 – 11. Winds SW 5 – 10 mph.
