Frankie and five kittens

FRANKIE is a super adorable and mellow Queensland mix who found himself homeless when his owner was relocated to an assisted living facility. That doesn’t mean Frankie is ready to hang up his leash! No way! He’s a medium-sized pooch, about 16″ at the shoulder, and is ready to be your faithful companion and walking buddy.
LOTS OF KITTENS & CATS! October is “Kitten Season” at Shelters all over the USA and Inyo County is no exception. If you’ve been thinking of adding a cat or kitten to your family, please consider the adoption option — you can save a precious life.
The Inyo County Animal Shelter has an amazing selection of adorable cats and lovable dogs. Please adopt one today. Visit in person on County Road in Big Pine or on-line HOURS: Tuesday thru Friday, 10 am to 3 pm, Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm (closed Mondays). Phone 760-938-2715.

Lisa Schade……Update on Lone Pine dogs…….Cali is having a GREAT life….daily walks, healthy, happy, and loves her other two dog buddies living with her…Whenever I go by the house to visit, she’s the first to greet me…and lean against me and visit….waiting on a treat. What a loving, big dog !!!….My little “shortstop” I think finally feels part of my family….When I first got him,he was kinda scared of my female Cocker Spaniol, and scared to be around people or other dogs much….after a couple months,he now sleeps on the bed,and plays pull-toy with Chloeno. Acts like a playfull little kid….when Chloeno and I are are asleep,he wakes up in the middle of the nite, gets up,and brings back a ball or a toy…expecting to play at 3 A.M…Both went on their first camping trip together last month and loved it. He now acts….and I’m sure feels a part of the family !!

they are so cute, and thanks for showcasing them KSRW….I wish we could get more cats spayed though so there weren’t so many kitties and cats looking for homes!
