Despite a state paperwork foul-up that will leave Jo Bacon as a Mammoth council member elect for another week, interviews for the planning commission will continue as scheduled.

With four seats available on the Mammoth Planning Commission, the Mammoth Town Council is scheduled TO interview 13 candidates Thursday evening starting at 4:00.

Interest in the planning commission is high this time around. 13 people have put in applications. Current commissioners Rhonda Duggan, Elizabeth Tenney, and Roy Saari have re-applied. Other applicants for the Mammoth Planning Commission include Warren Harrell, Marshall Minobe, Jay Deinken, Tom Moody, Dave Harvey, Denise Estrada, Leigh Gaasch, Sharon Clark, Curtis Driver, and Therese Hankle.

In what could lead to a shake up of the planning commission, Town Manager Rob Clark explained that while Jo Bacon cant be officially sworn in until July 2, the newly elected council member can sit in on the candidate interviews on Thursday. The actual appointment of the planning commissioners wont be until the July 2nd town council meeting.
