FRIDAY 10-JUN-2011, 6:19 AM PDT

Its been a long time since we experienced temperatures running in the normal range, but today thats the way it will be. Dry and warm today with a few clouds floating overhead. Over the weekend, those temps take a slight dip as a few disturbances push slightly cooler air into the area. Then summer like conditions start early next week as a strong Pacific ridge builds in off the West Coast. This will bring about warmer temperatures through our entire forecast area and increase the chances of the snow melt in the Sierra. By Tuesday of next week, the Owens Valley will be looking at the low 90s and Mammoth the upper 60s low 70s. Enjoy!
