LADWP warns that swift flowing water and high water levels with strong currents pose potential safety hazards that could result in personal injury and property damage. Visitors are advised to use extreme caution.

LADWP is working in cooperation with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) to improve the quality and quantity of  habitat along the Owens River Gorge.

In order to keep residents and visitors of the Eastern Sierra informed LADWP will continue to issue information related to the high flows.
