Mammoth Lakes, Calif. – Tickets for the 8th annual Mammoth Food & Wine Experience, sponsored by Honda, are on sale now for the July 13-14 Mammoth Lakes Foundation fundraiser.

Tickets for the Friday, July 13, Wine Walk are $50 and tickets for the Saturday, July 14, Grand Tasting are $99. In addition, six educational wine seminars are also available to choose from, all presented by Chef Frederic Pierrel at Mammoth Rock Brasserie. Seminars run from Wednesday, July 11, to Saturday, July 14 and cost $35 per seminar. Tickets can be purchased at www.MammothFoodAndWine.org.

This event is our premier fundraiser and proceeds help us execute our mission in supporting higher education and cultural enrichment in the Eastern Sierra,” said MLF Executive Director Rich Boccia. “During Saturday’s Grand Tasting, we will also be honoring Mammoth Lakes Foundation’s ‘Founder of the Year’ and our ‘Volunteer of the Year’ awards.”

This year, the Foundation secured a record number of wineries for both events. Friday’s Wine Walk takes place at the Village at Mammoth and features wine tastings from more than 30 wineries. Each guest also gets to take home a commemorative wine glass. Saturday’s Grand Tasting takes place at Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa and includes wine tastings from more than 35 wineries, tasty bites from more than five eateries, delightful dessert offerings from local establishments, live entertainment, a silent auction, a raffle, and an-always-entertaining live auction.

Starting on Wednesday, July 11, chose from six fun and educational seminars from the following wineries: Mineral Wines Estates, Mastro Scheidt Family Cellars, Rombauer Vineyards, Silver Oak and Twomey, Boisset Collection, and Peake Ranch. Each seminar includes tastings from four different wines and they are all presented with Chef Frederic Pierrel’s amuse-bouche (sorry, no substitutions). Each seminar is limited to 30 people, so reserve your seat today. Tickets are $35 per seminar.

Wineries for this year’s event so far include Alexander Valley Vineyards, Barefoot, Duckhorn Vineyards, Eberle Winery, Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard, Sextant, Grgich Hills Estate, The Hess Collection, J. Lohr Vineyard Series, Jaffurs Wine Cellars, Mastro Scheidt Family Cellars, Mineral Wines, Old Bridge Cellars, Oyster Bay, Peachy Canyon Winery, Rombauer Vineyards, Silver Oak, Stellareese Wines, Vintage Cowboy, and Zaca Mesa.

Cider will be poured by Snowblind Distributors.

Eateries so far include Austria Hof, Mammoth Rock Brasserie, Jimmy’s Taverna, Petra’s, and Mammoth Tavern; dessert and snacks will also be provided by Mountain Cakery, Great Basin Bakery, and Hugs Ice Cream.
