christmas-tree-giftsFor the 16th year, Inyo Mono Advocates for Community Action (IMACA), with the help of the Inyo Register and dozens of local businesses and community organizations, is proud to bring the Wish Tree Program to the Owens Valley.

The Wish Tree provides children in need with warm clothes and toys for Christmas.

You can support a child by going to a Wish Tree location and choosing a child’s “Bulb” off the tree.  The “Bulb” carries the child’s sizes and Christmas wishes.

Christmas Wish Trees will be on display at the following local businesses beginning Wednesday, November 23:

In Bishop at the Inyo Register, Mountain Light Gallery,
Alta One Bank, and Studio 27,
In Big Pine at Hi-Country Market and Hardware
In Independence at Jenny’s Café, and
In Lone Pine at El Dorado Savings and the Espresso Parlor.

Gifts must be returned to Wish Tree sites by December 12 in Bishop, and December 16 in Independence and Lone Pine.

Discounted gifts for Wish Tree children are available at Bee Gee’s, Ben Franklin, Bishop Art Supply, Dwayne’s Friendly Pharmacy, JC Penney’s , Spellbinder Books, and in Lone Pine The Espresso Parlor, Lone Pine Drug, and Gardner’s True Value Hardware.
