The Noon Rotary Club of Mammoth Lakes recently contributed $500 to the Mammoth High School Cheer Team to help purchase uniforms and support transportation to away games.  “Transportation and uniforms are our two biggest expenses and we are grateful to Rotary, and the many other local organizations, that helped us start the season in a big way,” commented Cindie Wormhoudt, Director of MHS’s cheerleading program.
The Rotary Board affirms its support of extracurricular activities for the Mammoth High community.  “These types of activities are a key part of high school and we are happy to be part of it,” added Sandra Hageman, Mammoth Rotary Community Services Chair.
Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and around the globe. The 1.2 million Rotarians who make up more than 34,000 Rotary clubs in nearly every country in the world share a dedication to the ideal of Service Above Self.
