My friend, former ARC  Chapter Executive, John Pacheco, donated hundreds of N95 masks to local hospitals.

I recently spoke with a good friend of mine from Red Cross, John Pacheco, the former CEO of the Santa Monica Chapter in the Los Angeles Area. He related a story of some recent donations that he made to several local hospitals in his community of Sylmar. John, as it just so happened, had several hundred N95 masks that he had bought last summer when the wildfires were raging and the air quality in Los Angeles  terrible.

John has several serious health issues and didn’t need to have breathing be one of them, hence the breathing masks. So, he bought all these masks last summer and was handing them out to friends and others he came across working outdoors that he felt could have use for it. Fast forward to now and John told me that over the past two weeks he’s given away hundreds of the masks to local hospitals in his area. He heard the need and stepped up to the plate and gave away his supply of N95 masks.

We are also looking for volunteers (sewers and fabric). Please private message us with your contact information if you would like to volunteer your time.

Be like my friend John Pacheco in Los Angeles. Help out our medical community with supplies if you have them! And if you don’t have any supplies, but you can sew, jump into the effort to make masks and gowns. It’s all for a good cause.john
