Wear a mask.
No, you don’t have to wear a mask all the time, every time you go outside.
The guidelines are well-established at this point. You are being asked to wear a mask whenever you cannot maintain social/physical distancing of at least six feet. The pandemic is a medical issue, not a political one. Follow the science and advice of the public health authorities. The current upsurge in COVID-19 cases through the states, such as California, Texas, Arizona, and Florida, despite advice against it or concerns over it, is proof that this pandemic is far from over.

It’s not that hard.
It’s not that hard to just put a mask or bandana on when you’re around others. It’s not that hard to be respectful of the others you come in contact with. It’s not that hard to take a simple precaution which could directly, or indirectly protect a more vulnerable person, or a first responder, or a medical professional.
It’s just not that hard.
You would think so, but the world is chock full of bigotry and selfishness.
Trying to wrap my head around why someone put a “thumbs down”, for me wearing a mask is a simple matter of respect of others.
Why?
Ignorance.
