Mono County Office of Education is proud to announce the January 2016 graduates.

On Wednesday, January 13th, there was a graduation ceremony at Lee Vining Community Center for 3 students from Tioga Community School in Lee Vining and 1 student from Sawtooth Ridge Community School in Coleville.
Anna Guererro, the graduate from Sawtooth Ridge Community School is already attending Cerro Coso College in Mammoth and living in the dorms.
The Tioga Community School graduates also have plans for the future. Forest Bayer, who completed his credits back in October, has moved to Bishop and is pursuing his passion of skiing.
Rosario & Rene

Rosario Cortes and Rene Garnica

Rosario Cortes is working for June Mountain Ski Area and will begin attending College of the Sequoias in the fall. Rene Garnica plans to work in Lee Vining until he can save up some money to travel. Approximately 65 people attended this ceremony to support these graduates.
On Wednesday, January 20th, Jan Work Community School in Mammoth Lakes, celebrated the graduation of  Jose “Pancho” Godinez.  Jose works at the Bistro at Snowcreek and he plans on either attending Cerro Coso Community College or joining the military.
