Kevin Green, the self-proclaimed entrepreneur who landed in Mono County jail on a fraud warrant, was scheduled to appear in court yesterday. His pre-trial hearing was continued until September 29th.

Two years ago, Green claimed he would buy four Mammoth Lakes restaurants at the height of the real estate boom. His promises turned into disappointments and a bad check. Green failed to appear in court on charges, but was arrested recently at the Atlanta, Georgia Airport on the Mono County warrant.

The District Attorney’s office lowered Green’s $100,000 bail to $10,000 when his parents paid $34,000 to cover the bad check their son had passed in Mammoth.

Green still faces a charge of fraud by writing a bad check.
