Increasing concern over the rising numbers of COVID-19 cases being reported in Mono County have prompted the Public Health Officer, Dr. Tom Boo, to issue another order on prohibiting gatherings which are promoting the spread of the coronavirus. Large numbers of visitors and tourists to the Town of Mammoth Lakes, and at campgrounds and campsites, appear to be fueling the pandemic in the county. It is happening across the country.
