After we ran a story on Mono Narcotic operations for the year of 2008, the Mono County Sheriffs department sent over another list of recent operations this year.

Officers report that on February 22, 2009, MONET agents served a search warrant on Mammoth Lakes resident Michelle Bellin as the result of a 3 month investigation. Bellin was arrested without incident and charged with several counts of marijuana sales and possession of more than 4 lbs. of marijuana found during the search.

On February 24, 2009, MONET agents report the arrest of Washington State resident Alfonso Ruelas after he delivered pound of methamphetamine. Ruelas was found to be an illegal alien who re-entered the U.S. and was wanted by Immigration & Customs Enforcement, officers report.

On February 26, 2009, MONET finished investigations in the Walker/Coleville area of Mono County. These investigations led to the service of 2 search warrants and the arrests of 4 subjects. 25 year old Coleville resident Trevor Redrobe was arrested for sales of methamphetamine. 42 year old Coleville resident David Salmond was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. 43 year old Lynette Halverson of Walker was arrested for sales of controlled substance, and 44 year old Walker resident Michael Brooks was arrested for possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a dangerous weapon.

On March 10, 2009, MONET agents wrapped up a 3 month investigation by serving a search warrant at a Mammoth Lakes residence. Agents arrested 23 year old Michael Williams for sales of marijuana, 32 year old Chris Ricci for possession of a controlled substance, and 28 year old David Schmidt for possession of more than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a dangerous weapon.

On March 9, 2009, MONET assisted CHP on a traffic stop resulting in over 1 pound of marijuana being recovered. Arrested was 30 year old San Jose resident Michael Galindo. Officers report that Galindo was going home from a pending court case in Mono County where he was previously arrested for being in possession of over 4 pounds of marijuana.
