Bishop Mule Days will present a variety of events at the Tri-County Fairgrounds featuring music, dinners, and dancing.

We will be hosting our annual Opening Night Supper on Wednesday, May 25 at 6pm in the Charles Brown Auditorium on the Tri-County Fairgrounds. $35 per guest.

Mule Days is proud to bring Michael Martin Murphey to the Tri-County Fairgrounds for the Thursday night concert on May 26. The concert begins at 7:30pm in the Charles Brown Auditorium.

Our afternoon BBQ will be held on Friday, May 27 at 4pm in the Charles Brown Auditorium. Playhouse 395 will be performing “Singing Through the West” with a compilation of Country and Cowboy Classics. Adults $20. Children 8 and under $10.

The Saturday Night Dance on May 28 is located in the Charles Brown Auditorium at 8:30pm. JD Priest will be returning to play some good ol’ folk-country music. $10 per guest.

Bishop Mule Days delightedly presents Percheron Thunder at this year’s celebration. Percheron Thunder will be in all 5 shows in the Main Arena and in the Saturday morning parade performing Roman riding through circles, large and small figure eights, and high speed galloping.

The 20 Mule Team driven by Bobby Tanner will display the incredible athleticism and skill in the Mule Days arena and Saturday Parade. Meet and greet with the mules and teamsters at the end of the Sunday afternoon show.

Mule Days offers many different Mule Shows during the week located in the Main and East Arenas. All Mule Shows starting on Tuesday, May 24 through Friday afternoon, May 27 are FREE.

However, the main shows starting on Friday evening running through Sunday evening are ticketed shows. These shows include Percheron Thunder, the 20 Mule Team, and the Clown Shows.

And remember entrance to the fairgrounds and parking are always FREE!

I Want to be a Packer

Mule Days presents I Want to be a Packer! This family-friendly, kid-loving, fun-having event is open to the public and is FREE to participants! Located at the Tri-County Fairgrounds Junior Packer Corral on Main walkway before the grandstands. The dates of this event are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday May 27-29, 2016.

The I Want to be a Packer events are Musical Tires, Barrel Racing, Cross Country Jumping, Pole Bending, Clown School, and Bronc Riding, and will be occurring throughout the weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

All youth participate for FREE, and parents are encouraged to watch their children perform in the Main Arena. However, adults will need to purchase show tickets.

Along with all the fun, there will be gold panning from 12pm-1pm, and free fishing at the Rick Dean Fish Ponds on Saturday and Sunday.

Bishop Mule Days offers informative clinics for the public each Memorial Day weekend. All of the clinics are FREE and available to everyone.

Tuesday, May 24: Master Your Trail Obstacles, Mulemanship and Confidence.

Wednesday, May 25: Find and Bu the Perfect Mule, Introduction to Working Equitation, Equine “Imprint Training”, Bio Containment for Equine Health Care, Zoetis Animal Health Care, Prevention Strategies: Equine Herpes Virus & New Strain Flu Virus, CHP Commercial Licensing & Horse Trailer Safety.

Thursday, May 26: Those Amazing Donkeys, Better Communication Between Mule & Rider.

Friday, May 27: Tools on Mules, The Art and Science of Putting Together a Pack String, Packing With The Toppings, Commercial Packing in the High Sierra, Pack Trip Preparation, Beginning Packing Demonstration.

Saturday, May 28: Raising Mules Right

Sunday, May 29: Those Amazing Donkeys
