After a two month investigation into methamphetamine sales, Mono narcotics agents announced the arrest of a Mammoth man.

Mono County Narcotics Enforcement Team agents, with help from Mammoth Police and the Mono Sheriff’s Department, served a search warrant at a home located in the Sierra Holiday Trailer Park in Mammoth.

As a result, officers arrested 20 year old Trinidad Espitia of Mammoth. He was arrested and booked at the Mono County Jail for possession of methamphetamine for sale and maintaining a place for the purpose of selling narcotics.

Officers said they found two ounces of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of $5200, along with scales, packaging materials and other items related to the sales of narcotics.
