National Weather Service | Lower Temps, but windy…not good for fire situation

The one thing that most firefighters will tell you is that they could do without is wind. Hopefully, things will not get completely out of control in what is turning out to be a devastating fire season here in California.

How and where you can find the most complete weather information is at the U.S. National Weather Service (NWS).

Advice during the current fire situation and smoke throughout the communities of the Eastern Sierra is to: Stay indoors. Do not use evaporative coolers, close vents to outside. Use an air conditioner, if available. Use face mask, if available. Avoid any strenuous exercise or work.

Most importantly, Stay Safe. Look out for others.
