Janis Wyatt 1921-2020

Born Janis Marie to Lloyd and Dollie Morgan, October 30,1921 in Union City, lndiana,
Janis entered permanent sleep at the Bishop Care Center January 19th – she was 98.

Following graduation from high school, Janis and her fiance Lee Anderson, moved to
Califomia where they wed in 1941 in Laguna Beach. There they raised two sons.
Lee became a bookkeeper and was a recognized talented musician. Janis was a
homemaker, a Scout den mother, and notably involved in the Junior Women’s
lmprovement Club.

After Lee’s passing in 1960, Janis went to work for a physician in South Laguna where
she met Bill Wyatt. They wed in 1971 and made their home in San Clemente. Janis and
Bill traveled all over he country in their Chinook RV and they loved the High Sierra
especially Upper Twin Lake, Bridgeport.

Bill passed in 1999 but Janis remained in their Roca Vista home and was a prominent
neighbor with many dear friends there.

ln 2013 Janis relocated to Sterling Heights in Bishop. She became a loved resident
there until her recent move to the Bishop Care Center.

Janis leaves son Jeff Anderson of Stanton , son Lloyd (Pat) Anderson of Bishop,
granddaughter Christi Davis and husband Rob Bowlin of Temecula, grandson Matt
(Stacey) Anderson of Denver, and great grandchildren Ben and Brooke Davis and Taylor
and Payton Anderson.

The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care and friendship provided by the staff at
Sterling Heights, especially Rick and Trudi Lee, the care by Doctors Nickoline Hathaway
and Anne Wakamiya, and the staff at the Care Center. No services are planned.
