OVUSD Free Breakfast and Lunch Program for Kids and discounted meals for Adults and Seniors

The meals are served in the Multi-purpose Room behind the gymnasium.

The program, which began on July 1st and will end August 2nd, has been a great success and has served over 500 meals.

Dr. Rosanne Lampariello, the Superintendent/Principal of Owens Valley Unified School District has been ecstatic over the program’s success and says, “As the leader of OV, I am focused not only on our students and their preparation for college and career but also on building community connections. We decided to open up the summer meal program to adults in the community to fill a need since the breakfast and lunch options in town are very limited and to open our doors so that those who live and work here in town can feel connected to the local school.”

Lampariello encourages the community to come take advantage of the free and discounted meals. To sign-up, call the office at 760-872-2405 or fill out the Google form online at the ovusd.org website. Breakfast is served from 9:00 to 9:30 am and Lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
