Harold Wayne Quai-Nana Butterbredt, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at the House of Mercy Pentecostal Church located at 393 S. Paha Lane, Bishop, for 18 year old resident Harold Wayne Quai-Nana Butterbredt, Jr.

Reverend Stanley Summers will officiate. Interment will follow at the Sunland Indian Cemetery in Bishop.

A potluck luncheon will be served at the Barlow Lane Gym following burial.

A Cry Dance will be held at dusk on Friday, July 15, 2016at 515 S. Paha Lane, Bishop.

Born in Bishop on March 19, 1998, Harold, best known as Quai-Nana, passed away on July 8, 2016 in Bishop.  He was 18 years old.  Quai-Nana was larger than life.  He always had a smile on his face and could brighten anyone’s day.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and would always lend a helping hand whether asked or not.

He had plans to make a better life for himself that included joining the military and then going on to college.  Quai-Nana will be missed by his family and those whose lives he touched.

Quai-Nana is survived by his brother, Waylon Butterbredt; sisters Michelle Castendra and Jessica Delgado all of Bishop; nieces Kiara “Kiki” Delgado, and Jubilation Robinson; nephews Jesus “Chucky” Delgado, and Jaxon Robinson all of Bishop; Aunts Teri Cawelti Red Owl, Becky Barlow Jeff, and Berdina Renfro; Uncles Larry Cawelti, Jr., Jonathan Cawelti, and George Barlow II; and numerous cousins and other relatives.

Quai-Nana is preceded in death by his parents Adrienne Carol Barlow and Harold Wayne Butterbredt, Sr.; sister Timala Haiwee Willis; grandparents Dorothy (Kinney) and George Barlow, Sr., and Juanita (Butterbredt) and Morgan Kinney, Sr.
