Robert Joseph Toth, 81, resident of Bishop for 51 years, born in Bridgeport, CT on September 5, 1932, passed away on March 28, 2014 at his residence in Bishop.

Bob began his 32 year professional career with the Department of Fish & Game in 1960 as an associate fish pathologist and moved to Bishop shortly thereafter. He enjoyed all aspects of the Owens Valley and was an avid fly fisherman, hunter, trapper, bird watcher and golfer.

He was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Survived by sons Robert Joseph Toth, Jr. of San Francisco and William Marc Toth of Ojai; and sister Barbara L. Toth of Florida. Preceded in death by his wife Barbara.

Rosary will be Friday, April 4, 2014, 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment at East Line Street Cemetery. Father John Gracey will officiate.
