And the Youth Shall Lead Us!*
There is a Black Lives Matter Peaceful Protest planned for this Saturday, 9am to Noon in the Bishop City Park.
Here are the details on Facebook and net on the protest from organizers Bea Alexandra and Anna Rose Dossey:
“Hello people of Bishop, we encourage you to join us for another peaceful protest in solidarity to the Black Lives Matter movement. Over the last events, we’ve seen so much support and motivation to keep fighting for racial equality.
They urge you to wear masks, bring sunglasses, and wear sunscreen as we are in the summer months. If you have a water bottle please bring one, if you don’t have either, masks and water can be provided.”
Follow CDC Guidelines to protect yourself and others.

Man, some of these people who live on the east side of the Sierras come across like a bunch of fascist elitist snobs, don’t they?
Flatlanders are far worse.
Don’t forget about social distancing.
Make sure that these protesters are practicing 6 foot social distancing. Make it happen! Got to keep everybody safe right? If not arrests should be made! Right?
They have very clearly stated that they encourage wearing masks and masks will be provided if necessary.

I don’t know what you’re trying to say with that lame statement. Perhaps you should try being blunt. And I don’t mean a marijuana cigarette either. The high Sierras belong to the American people.
A Lopez You don’t live up here ? If so,why are you so concerned about any type of 2nd planned protest in Bishop ? Wasn’t it you that came up with all the rumors about what “you heard” was going to happen, who was going to show up in buses, at… Read more »
