In December, Police arrested Jones after a series of stabbings at a party. Last month Jones pleaded guilty to multiple charges of assault by knife.

At the time of the incident, Mammoth Police reported that Jones was arrested on charges of attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed three people at a party on Manzanita Road.

Mammoth Police said that party-goers reported that Jones was involved in an argument, pulled out a pocket knife and started slashing at bystanders with the two and a quarter inch blade. Two males and a female were treated at Mammoth hospital for minor to serious knife wounds. One victim was reported to have been stabbed in the chest.

When bystanders broke up the fight, Jones reportedly took off running. A witness with a cell phone followed the suspect guiding police during the chase. Jones was picked up behind the outlet mall on Center Street.

After months in the system, both sides reached a plea agreement according to the DAs office. With multiple charges of assault with a knife, Jones now awaits sentencing scheduled for 1:30 today in the Mono County Courtroom in the Town of Mammoth.
