Late Monday night Mammoth police arrested 18-year-old Pedro Ramirez for attempted murder, after allegedly stabbing another man in the back.

Sgt. Karen Smart with the MLPD writes that Ramirez and the victim had reportedly been feuding for several months. Police did not say why the two were feuding, but did say that they had been in a fist fight earlier on Monday, before the stabbing.

Sgt. Smart reports that the 27-year old-victim, a Mammoth resident, was treated at Mammoth Hospital for a stab wound about six inches deep in his lower back. Hospital staff reported that the wound was not life threatening and the victim was later released.
