The Town of Mammoth Lakes purchased The Parcel, historically known as the Shady Rest Parcel for workforce housing. Town and Mammoth Lakes Housing staff will lead optional walking tours leaving every 20 minutes through The Parcel and provide information on the project. Everyone is encouraged to come, walk, talk, learn, and enjoy free food. The event is kid and dog friendly (dogs must be on leash).

The Parcel is located at 1699 Tavern Road. The event will be held on The Parcel, near the corner of Tavern Road and Laurel Mountain Road.

Parking is available along Laurel Mountain Road and at the Tavern Park & Ride lot. Please be respectful of the neighborhood and do not park in the residential area of Shady Rest Road. Parking for limited mobility guests will be available at the event location.
