Mono Lake Ranger District

Roads open: Monitor Pass (Hwy 89), Sonora Pass (Hwy 108), Tioga Pass (Hwy 120 w), Saddlebag Lake Rd., Hwy 120 E (Benton), Bodie (Hwy 270) Lundy Canyon June Lake Loop, Parker Lake Rd.

Campgrounds open: Lundy Canyon, Aspen Grove, Lower Lee Vining, Moraine, Aerie Crag, Gull Lake, June Lake, Oh Ridge, Silver Lake, Reversed Creek, Hartley Springs, Big Springs, Glass Creek, Obsidian Flat,

Campgrounds closed: Upper and Lower Deadman.
Closing 10/7: Big Bend, Ellery Lake, Junction, Tioga Lake, Sawmill Walk-in, Saddlebag Lake, and Saddlebag Lake Group Camp.

The Mono Basin Visitor Center is open seven days a week, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Starting Oct. 27, hours will be 8:30am – 4:30pm, Thursday through Monday.

Mammoth Ranger District

Roads open: Lakes Basin Rd., Old Mammoth Rd. to Lakes Basin, Inyo Craters, Mammoth Creek, Mammoth Scenic Loop, Laurel Canyon,

Closing: Reds Meadow Rd. (closing at noon Oct. 9).

Campgrounds open: Mammoth Mtn. RV Park (private, year round), New Shady Rest, Twin Lakes, Brown’s Owens River, Crowley Lake (BLM), Convict Lake, and Reds Meadow (closing 10/7).

Campgrounds closed: Old Shady Rest, Sherwin Creek, Pine Glen Family/Group, Lake Mary, Lake George, Pine City, Coldwater, Agnew Meadows Horse, Agnew Meadows Group, Agnew Meadows Family, Upper Soda Springs, Pumice Flat.

Closing 10/3: Brown’s Owens River. Closing 10/7: Reds Meadow.

The Mammoth Welcome Center is open daily 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Devils Postpile Ranger Station is open Thursday through Monday from 9am to 5pm and will close for the season on October 8th.

White Mountain Ranger District

CARMA restoration area closure.  Respect the restoration efforts. Do not travel w/motorized vehicles beyond closed gates or park off of established roadways where vegetative seeding has occurred.

Roads open: McGee Creek Rd., Rock Creek Rd., Buttermilk Rd., North Lake Rd., Hwy 168 to Lake Sabrina, South Lake Rd., Big Pine Canyon (Glacier Lodge) Rd., White Mt. Rd. is clear to the Barcroft gate, Silver Canyon Rd., Wyman Canyon Rd.

Campgrounds open: McGee, Tuff, French Camp, Iris Meadow, East Fork, Palisade, Pine Grove, Rock Creek, Mosquito Flat Backpacker, Big Meadow, Aspen Group,  Bitterbrush, Four Jeffrey, Willow, Bishop Park,  Sabrina, North Lake,  Big Trees, Forks, Intake 2, Horton Creek (BLM), Big Pine Creek (no water), Sage Flat, Goodale (BLM), Grandview (no water, no trash service, firewood is limited), Pleasant Valley Pit (BLM), Pleasant Valley (County), Cedar Flat Group Camp.

Campground closed: Holiday, Rock Creek Lake Group Campground, Bishop Park Group, Table Mountain Group, Mt. Glen, Clyde Glacier Group Camp, Palisade Glacier Group Camp, Upper Sage Flat.

Closing 10/5: Rock Creek, Closing 10/7: Palisade Group, Closing 10/8: Aspen Group
Closing 10/9: North Lake, Sabrina, Closing 10/14: Horton Creek (BLM).

The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest Visitor Center is open daily 10:00 am -5:00 pm.

The White Mountain Ranger Station Visitor Center is open seven days a week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, closed for lunch (noon- 1:00 pm).

Mt Whitney Ranger District:

Roads open: Onion Valley Rd., Horseshoe Meadow Rd (may have up to 20 minute delays for construction), Whitney Portal Rd. (may have up to 20 minute delays for construction), Foothill Rd., Division Creek.

Campgrounds open: Cottonwood Lakes/Pass, Horseshoe Meadow Equestrian, Whitney Portal, Onion Valley (no water), Boulder Creek RV Resort, Diaz Lake (County), Lone Pine Campground, Grays Meadow, Independence Creek (County), Portagee Joe (County), Tuttle Creek (BLM).

The Eastern Sierra Visitor Center in Lone Pine is open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Inyo National Forest is in Fire Restrictions for fire hazard.
