Sequoia National Park
The SQF Complex Fire is burning in the Sequoia National Forest in Tulare County and is working its way up the mountains into the Inyo National Forest in southern Inyo County. The fire and smoke are evident south of Olancha, Calif. where it can be seen southwest of the town.

My girlfriend and her family are backpacking out of mammoth, I haven’t heard from them since Friday, does anyone have any advice on how to get in touch with them? Or if their okay
the fires are mostly on the west side. They are probably okay if stay on east side by mammoth, although air quality really bad. good luck. If they are hiking out of Reds, call the store..
No one was attending castle fire when it was much smaller. Inciweb days reported 8/24. NOT. It was reported on 19th. I called in when it grew to 2000 acres and was told it was still unmanned. Why?. Because the wealthiest communities get the fire crews first. Thats the way… Read more »
