Just south of Big Pine, thousands of light-yellow butterflies flutter by Highway 395 all day long. We decided to get a photo of the lovely little bugs, and sleuth out their identities. One of TV33's viewers, Dolores Hopewell of Bishop, checked out her books and concluded that the butterflies might be Crescents.
