Type of Event: 245(A) (1) PC-Assault with a deadly weapon with injury.

Location: 771 N. Main Street.  Space #9

Suspect: Inthewoods, Jobe John, 25 year old, Big Pine resident.

On April 18, 2013 at 12:55am, the Bishop Police Department responded to a report of a fight involving several subjects, one of whom was reportedly armed with a knife. Upon arriving at 771 N. Main Street, Officers were advised of a possible suspect vehicle leaving the mobile home park. Officers located and stopped the vehicle on N. Sierra Highway just east of See Vee Lane. Officers made contact with one female and two males inside the vehicle. The two males had visible injuries and an ambulance was dispatched to the scene on N. Sierra Highway. Both male subjects were transported to Northern Inyo Hospital for treatment.

Inyo County Sheriff Deputies were asked to respond to 771 N. Main Street, space #97 to assist with the investigation regarding the original call. Deputies requested an ambulance at their location for two more subjects with injuries. One of the male subjects was transported to Northern Inyo Hospital for treatment.

Officers conducted several hours of interviews and conducted searches for evidence in the area of the Mobile Home Park and the adjacent field where the incident transpired.

Inthewoods, Jobe John was arrested for the above listed charge. He was later transported to the Into County Jail where he is being held on a $25,000.00 bail and is currently awaiting arraignment.
